Big Apple bound...again!

June of 2009, I had the opportunity to visit New York City (for the first time) with my dear friend, Amy. It was one of the best trips of my life. And ever since I left that magical city, I have wanted to go back. And friends, it's official. I'm going back!

Two years later, June 2011, I will be heading back to the Big Apple with Amy and our friend Jenn. We just bought our plane tickets today. I am still in shock: we found round-trip tickets for $299. WHAT!?!? Flying across the country for 300 bones? Holy cow, it's like a sign. We are meant to go back.

Have a great time! If you're still looking for lodging, I just learned about this amazing place from a colleague. (In case Emigh reads this, it's a recommendation from WMCA, Salem's station in NYC. I love that they give discounts on room rates to folks who will attend a worship service. What a unique and creative Gospel opportunity.)

Amy, thanks for the idea! I'll look into it!

And sister, we're gonna be hitting on ALL the Mr. Softee's in Manhattan. I can't wait to share our stories when we get back.
