hi

I am so tired. Sorry I haven't been blogging much. Things get pretty crazy this time of year. We are half way through the semester and I'm tired.

* It's been raining a lot.

* I have discovered the show Community on NBC and am a big fan.

*One of my housemates (Travis) turned 34 yesterday so we took him out to ice cream.

* I keep buying books. I need to finish the 5 by my bed before I buy more. But I can't help it. There are too many good books in this world.

*My hip hop class starts up again next week. (It's been on hiatus while they change locations)

* Speaking of dancing, I learned how to "Dougie". At the Ladies Sleepover last weekend, we played Jenga. And if the tower fell at your turn (you lose), you had to do a Truth or Dare. I lost the third game and I chose dare. The girls said I had to learn the "Dougie" dance and perform it at college group in front of everyone (It's almost as ridiculous as that Soulja Boy dance that came out a few years ago).

What books do you need to read? I also have 5 awaiting. I also LOVE Community, and we're getting your rain tomorrow :)

Ok, let's see what's by my bed right now...

1) "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan

2) "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" by Stieg Larsson (I need to read this whole trilogy!)

3) "The Beekeeper's Apprentice" by Laurie R. King. I saw this one in the used section of our bookstore. According to the back of the book, it's about Sherlock Holmes who is older and now retired and studying honeybees. And then along comes a fifteen year old girl who is outspoken, egotistical, smart, witty, and recently orphaned. She and Sherlock work on a case of a kidnapped American senator's daughter. It looks good!

4) "Sex God" and

5) "Velvet Elvis" by Rob Bell

6) "The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver

7) "Specials" by Scott Westerfeld. It's the third book of a young adult trilogy. Someone told me to read this series because it was similar to The Hunger Games (which I LOVE and am obsessed with). It's ok but not as good as The Hunger Games trilogy.

8) "A Long Way Down" by Nick Hornby

9) "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett

Have you ladies read any of the above? Like/Disliked? Any other titles I should add to my list? =)

Oh and Troy is my favorite Community character. I love his facial expressions and the things he says.
