2010 begins

Here are some pixs from New Years. Like I mentioned in the previous post, some friends rented out a roller rink and we partied! It was a "Capes and Bling" theme and people came all decked out. Two of my roomates and I decided to dress up as 60's Go-Go dancers and we covered ourselves in glitter, flower stickers, and whatever bling we could find. It was such a fun night.

Now onto what this new year holds.

In 2010 I plan to:

* cut 10 inches of my hair for Locks of Love

* get my braces off

* go to Lake Tahoe and play in the snow

* go to Hawaii with my family in February

* go on a date

* continue to spend lots of time with my nephew

* visit my friend Jody in Colorado this summer

* go for a ride in a hot air balloon (this was a goal last year and it didn't happen, so I am rolling it over to this year)

Other than that, I am open to whatever adventures life throws my way. Are you all excited for a new year?

What a fun New Year's party!!! I haven't been roller skating in forever! I love your goals. I'm going to be cutting off 10 inches of hair for Locks of Love this year too! I still have about 4 inches to grow it before I'm ready to cut it, but that should happen by the end of summer. You have some great travel plans. Why not throw in a trip to Orlando? Maybe in the fall...=)

Emily, that is SO funny you mentioned that, because some friends and I are talking about maybe going to Orlando to visit the new Harry Potter theme park! It opens this spring, but we probably wouldn't go until the summer or fall. I will keep you updated. It would be so fun to see you and your fam if we end up going. =)

Sarah! You can knock out a few birds with one stone in Colorado. It's MY goal this year to go up in a hot air balloon, too, and we have lots of 'em here in Boulder.
I can also get you a date. I know this really nice chiropractor...
