Great Mer-ca

There is an amusement park about an hour away called "Great America". There's only 4 or 5 roller coasters and the rest is kiddie rides and boardwalk-type games. Even though it's on the smaller side, I thought it would be fun to take some students. So a group of us went yesterday and had a good time.

One of my favorite parts of the day was getting drenched on Rip Roaring Rapids. There's a section where people can pay 25 cents and splash the riders as they go by. I thought if I had my camera out, the people would see that and not get us (ie. "Don't get her camera wet!")

I was wrong.
