New home group

I have realized on Wednesday nights (college group) that a lot of my role is "Hospitality". New college students come into the house and I love meeting them, getting to know them, introducing them to others, etc. That role has become natural and I really enjoy it.

So how strange was it when last night I went to a new home group for the first time and the tables were turned? I walked in to a house with 14 people looking at me and I knew none of them. Hmmm...that can be quite scary. I am so used to being the "welcomer", I haven't felt what it's like to be the "new person" in such a long time.

But it was a great night. The group seems really cool. I am looking forward to going back.
